We create healthy lunches for kids in schools. All food is donated through our wonderful supporters.
The health of our children is a serious issue that as a nation we are slowly coming to terms with. The statistics in Northland around poverty, child health and education make grim reading. We decided enough is enough and as a community we can make a difference for our kids.

Visit our Community Cafe
Hot lunches every day between 12-2pm. Koha (donation) of $5 if not working, and $10 if working is suggested. If you can not afford it, you can give what you can. We do not turn anyone away, and your donation will go towards feeding more people. 26 Water Street, Whangarei.

TIME
We have a team of around 20 volunteers helping us provide lunches to schools and the community.
MONEY
Due to the generous donations we are able to exist. When you donate and become a part of our community.
SKILLS
To operate we need skilled volunteers. If you have a skill that you think we could use please ask us as we are always looking.
We operate from the generous donations of time, money, and skills.
Through the generous donations of others we have fed thousands of school children from our community kitchen and cafe. We operate on the basis of need so if someone comes for lunch and can only afford something small we will feed them. Those that can afford to pay for lunch help feed those that can’t.
Your donation assists us to keep operating and will be used for the betterment of the community.
